Project summary: |
Partnership of Budapest Capital Municipality and Budaörs Municipality realizes the Budapest Complex Integrated Sewage Disposal Project in the framework of New Széchenyi Plan Environment and Energy Operative Programme (KEOP). The investment involves the construction works of the sewage system of areas with no sewage, the construction of collectors among treatment plants and the construction of main collector ditributing wastewaters from south-buda and Budaörs to the Central Wastewater Treatment Plant. The new system enables the sewerage rate in Budapest to reach the 99.9 % meeting the EU and national requirements. Significant life quality improvement of more than 41 000 persons in the capital is taking place by construction of appr. 240 km long sewer and connection to the main public utility system of more than 14 000 houses. |
